Urban Healing is pleased to announce they are now official WorldHOST Trainers offering WorldHOST Principles of Customer service training.
Over the next decade, the UK will host an impressive series of global sporting events including the London Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2012, the Ryder Cup and Commonwealth Games…, both in 2014, and the Rugby World Cup in 2015.
This presents a unique opportunity for hospitality, tourism, leisure and retail businesses to showcase the best of Britain and increase their sales by providing a warm welcome and impeccable service to visitors to the UK.
The ambitious WorldHost programme with a target of training 200,000, aims to raise the country’s overall customer service standards. It includes additional learning modules on serving customers with disabilities, service across cultures and the Ambassador workshop, aimed at volunteers assisting visitors. WorldHost has already been successfully used at the Vancouver Winter Olympics to train 39,000 staff and volunteers earlier this year.
